Solar Hot Water Panels Installed Atop Thorne Hall

Twenty-four glazed flat plate solar collectors, comprising a 960-square-foot solar thermal array, were installed June 30 on the roof of Thorne Hall as part of a solar hot water project that was made possible by a $50,000 grant from the Maine Public Utilities Commission.
