Summer 2009 Construction Projects

A number of campus construction projects, some already underway, are planned for summer 2009 and will be accompanied by some detours for pedestrians.

The process of taking down Dayton Arena has begun. Once demolition is complete, work will begin on a parking lot.

Work continues on the Fitness, Health and Wellness Center, resulting in fencing between several buildings including Sargent Gym, the heating plant, Hatch Science Library and the Cleaveland/Druckenmiller complex.

A project to upgrade the backup power to Hubbard Hall is also planned, as is work on the College's steam heating infrastructure, to be done in various places around campus. The exterior of Searles Hall is to be repainted.

The Town of Brunswick has begun work to replace storm drain lines and catch basins along Park Row and Maine Street between Richards Drive and Page Street. Read more about the drain project.
