The Art of Instruction — The Site of Inspiration draws on the Museum's permanent collection, examining the artistic process — through practices both institutionalized and individuated — in the 19th and 20th centuries.

The exhibition, which runs through April 5, 2009, includes works by John Ruskin, Winslow Homer and John Singer Sargent.

Maine Watch with Jennifer Rooks airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m., with rebroadcasts on Saturdays at 6:30 p.m., and Sundays at 5 p.m, on the stations of the Maine Public Broadcasting Network (locally on WCBB/Channel 10).

An audio version of the program airs Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m., on MPBN's radio stations (locally on WMEA/90.1 FM).
