Assistant Professor of Government Michael Franz and DeAlva Stanwood Alexander Professor of Government Christian Potholm appeared together on the WCSH program 207 Wednesday, March 5, 2008.

Franz and Potholm were invited to discuss the results of primaries in Ohio and Texas, held Tuesday, March 4, and considered pivotal to the campaigns of Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama.
Tuesday primaries were also held in Rhode Island and Vermont.

Franz is co-author of Campaign Advertising and American Democracy (Temple University Press, 2007).
Among Potholm's many books are Maine: The Dynamics of Political Change (Rowman & Littlefield, 2005) and This Splendid Game: Maine Campaigns and Elections, 1940-2002 (Rowman & Littlefield, 2003).
