Geoffrey Canada '74 Appears on "60 Minutes"

The work and leadership of Geoffrey Canada '74, a Bowdoin trustee and president and CEO of the Harlem Children's Zone, have long inspired Bowdoin students, faculty, staff, and alumni. On Sunday, May 14, the rest of America found out why when the CBS program "60 Minutes" featured Geoff and his colleagues at the Harlem Children's Zone as they work to turn at-risk New York City children into America's next generation of college graduates. The program also included an appearance by Stanley F. Druckenmiller '75, who serves as chairman and secretary of the Harlem Children's Zone Board of Trustees. Watch the "60 Minutes" Segment here.
