William S. Cohen '62, H'75 Joins CNN's "Wolf Blitzer Reports"

The Honorable William S. Cohen '62, H'75, former secretary of defense under President Clinton, has joined CNN as world affairs analyst for "Wolf Blitzer Reports."

The senior statesman will appear each Monday to share his analysis and give his unique perspective on critical political and security issues facing the world today.

Cohen served three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives and three years in the U.S. Senate representing Maine. He is now chairman and CEO of The Cohen Group, a business advisory firm in Washington, D.C.

In 2000, he was the recipient of The Bowdoin Prize, one of the College's highest honors. His remarks upon receiving the award were reprinted in the Fall 2000 issue of Bowdoin magazine along with an interview he gave while visiting campus. He was elected Bowdoin Overseer in 1973 and Overseer Emeritus in 1985.

CNN's "Wolf Blitzer Reports" airs weeknights from 5-6 p.m. (ET). The program focuses on the day's top news, live interviews with top newsmakers and live reports from CNN correspondents around the United States and the world.
