Story posted April 29, 2004
In the April 29 edition of The Boston Globe, staff writer Jim McCabe shares friends' memories of Sid Watson in the golf column "Memories Live On, Going a Round and a Round."
Bowdoin hockey coach Terry Meagher, who "shared countless good times" with Watson during their more-than 20 year friendship, warmly recalls the mutual love for the game of golf he had with "his great friend, ... his old boss, his colleague, his mentor, his confidant, his icon."
Jim Dodson and Fred Thorne '57 also provide memories of being on the links with Watson.
