Don't Miss Out on College Because You Think You Can't Afford It

Nov. 13, 1998, BRUNSWICK, Maine -- A group of higher education associations and nearly 1,200 colleges and universities have banded together to educate high school students and their parents about the many ways to finance a college education. The effort, called "College is Possible," includes launching a web site at http://www.CollegeIsPossible.org and setting up a toll free number for the U.S. Department of Education (1-800-433-3243), as well as publishing a comprehensive resource guide.
