Elizabeth Pritchard, A.B. (Boston College), M.T.S., M.A., Ph.D. (Harvard) teaches religious thought in the modern West. Her research projects include a study of the relationship between feminist theology and radical democratic theory; a reconstruction and critique of the theological commitments of the Marxist philosopher Theodor Adorno; and an analysis of the foundations of consent in modern political philosophy and religious thought. She has recently published "Feminist Theology and the Politics of Failure," Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion (1999) and "The Way Out West: Development and the Rhetoric of Mobility in Postmodern Feminist Theory," Hypatia (2000).
