Bowdoin is fortunate to be situated in one of the most beautiful and accessible parts of the United States. Coastal Maine is a major tourist destination with direct flights out of Portland International Jetport to Atlanta, Chicago, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and more. It's also a beautiful drive to Bowdoin, just 2.5 hours from Boston.

Brunswick is a town of 21,000 with a variety of lodging options, including some that offer discounts to prospective students and their families. Portland is an easy half-hour drive south and offers all the amenities of any city.

All visitors should obtain a parking pass from the reception desk in the admissions building.
