Bowdoin augments students’ academic endeavors with a robust student life program. Thanks in part to gifts from alumni, students can have the best four years of their lives.
Didn’t think an Equestrian Club was among the 107 that Bowdoin offers? Think again, and check out this video:
What are some of the other 107?
The Bowdoin Curling Club (they’ve won the national division championship in recent years), the Huntington Bird Club (revived by a first year after 26 years of inactivity), and a group of students who bowl every Thursday night. Plus, more than 500 students participated in the 2012 Common Good Day – a new record.
The College’s radio station, WBOR, attracted Racer-X sized crowds at its concert during the fall semester, which featured RJD2, Shlohmo and Forget, Forget (a Portland-based band featuring an alumnus).
Bowdoin Career Planning has always worked to help students apply their Bowdoin experiences to professional opportunities, as the pictures from this year’s Do’s and Don’ts Fashion Show and the video of mock interviews that took place on campus this fall demonstrate.
