Guided Campus Tours
Begin your visit with an introduction and a Q&A with a Bowdoin Admissions officer. Then, join a student-led tour that highlights academic and student life on campus. Preregistration is required for information sessions and tours.
Virtual Tour
Can't make it to campus for a tour? Take a self-paced virtual tour of the main campus, arts, or athletic facilities.
Explore Bowdoin
If you are a low-income and/or first-generation-to-college member of the Class of 2025, then Explore Bowdoin is for you.
Group Tours
If you are a school or community-based organization who would like to bring a group of students to Bowdoin for a tour, submit your group tour request.
Self-Guided Campus Tours
If you're visiting at a time when a student-led tour is not offered, you can take a self-guided tour. Maps and a tour booklet are available just to the left of the entrance to the Admissions building and are accessible 24/7.
Bowdoin in your Area
Our Admissions staff travels throughout the US and abroad to meet with interested students and counselors.
An interview is strongly encouraged, but not required, as part of the application process.
Interviews are available to anyone applying for first-year admission for the fall of 2025. The interviewer will guide the course of your give-and-take conversation, and there will be plenty of time for you to ask questions.
On Campus or Virtual
Students applying for admission in fall 2025 can request an in-person or virtual interview with a Bowdoin admissions officer or student. Registration is required.
Interviews with Bowdoin Alumni
Virtual and in-person interviews are available September 1 through December 1 with Bowdoin alumni across the world. These are official admissions interviews and are a great way to learn more about the College.
Alumni interviews will open on September 1.
Veterans and Current Members of the US Military
Request an online interview by using the veteran interview request form. Please refer to the form for deadlines.
