Mr. Lopez will perform Rachmaninoff's Etudes-Tableaux and the premiere of Prof. Vineet Shende's Mayan-based fantasy, "At the Cusp of Dawn, a Breath."

Looking ahead:

George Lopez will lead the Bowdoin Orchestra and Chamber Ensembles in a concert on Saturday, November 17, at 3 p.m. in Kanbar Auditorium, Studzinski Recital Hall.

On Friday, December 14, Lopez and special guests from around the country will perform two Brahms piano quartets. The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Kanbar Auditorium, Studzinski Recital Hall.

All performances are open to the public free of charge.
