Education
I earned my B.A. from Bowdoin College in 1991 with a Major in German and a Minor in History. After several years of work in education, I earned my MSEd in Higher Education Administration from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
Background
I was raised in Briarcliff Manor, NY. After college I travelled to Germany on a Fulbright Scholarship. I have worked for the Appalachian Mountain Club and as an Environmental Educator and Wilderness Trip Leader for Chewonki Foundation. I took any opportunity to work and live internationally, teaching for Global Quest in Thailand and serving as a Dean for the School for Field Studies in Australia. At Bowdoin I have worked in Off-Campus Study, in the Women's Resource Center, and with student wellness programming.
