Background

I come to Bowdoin after spending five years as the Dean of Students at St. Margaret’s School (SMS), an all-girls college preparatory boarding and day school serving eighth through twelfth grade.  Prior to SMS, I worked at the University of Virginia where I served as an Academic Coordinator, monitoring academic eligibility and providing academic advising, counseling and support. My student affairs roots began working in housing and residence life as an undergraduate student and furthering my love for the residential experience as a Coordinator for Residence Education at the University of Arkansas.  In addition to the areas mentioned, I have experience with many other functional areas of student affairs. I am a proud and active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and live in town with my spouse and dog.
