Stephen D. Morris
My primary research areas are Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics, and Econometrics. I have also worked on applications to International, Housing, and Environmental Economics. I was at Lehman during the 2008 crisis and the Fed during the 2020 pandemic. I received a PhD from UC San Diego in 2014. Recently, I have been collaborating with World Bank researchers to develop a new way of measuring global economic activity using NASA satellites.
