Bowdoin Resources While Abroad

If you're studying abroad, nearly all of the library's databases are accessible via the library's homepage:  http://library.bowdoin.edu/  You will be prompted, eventually, to log in with your Bowdoin username and password.   More information about library resource and services while you are studying away.

Alternatively, consider using the campus VPN (virtual private network) software.  VPN acts as secure tunnel to campus services.  Information about VPN is at the I.T. site.  Questions about the VPN should be directed to I.T.

If you plan to participate in the spring housing lottery, just a reminder that DUO login is required to access the Bricks and Beyond housing portal. Before you leave the country, review this information from IT with tips on how to be sure you will have access while abroad:

Because DUO is tied to your US phone number, switching this will cause DUO to stop working. You can take steps in advance to text yourself a series of bypass codes that can be used to reconfigure Duo once you have your new phone established.
