Resources and Required Forms for your Off-Campus Study

OCS Pre-departure Video series

There’s a lot of information to take in before studying off-campus. We of course hope this website and our handbook provides much of the information students need to know before departing, but we’ve also created a short video series covering most of this information.

Students are expected to watch the entire series upon approval of their study-away plan. It features interviews with OCS and related departments, such as ResLife, Health Services, the Registrar, and Student Aid. Parents are welcome to watch the series as well. Many FAQs are answered by the series and OCS asks that students watch the videos first and meet with us to answer follow up questions.

Required Forms On-Site

Upon arrival, fill out these two required OCS forms as soon as possible. These forms are short, mandatory, and online, not to mention critical to your academic approval and support in case of emergency. These forms are YOUR responsibility to complete in a timely manner! Complete instructions are available at the start of each form.

Upon completing your time off-campus, fill out the required “Program Evaluation” form. This form is essential feedback for our office and future OCS students about the academic and non-academic elements of your experience. It is required, and failure to complete this form will result in a delay in credit transfer.
