John Rich '39, H'74, P'78, P'80, whose collection of rare color photographs of wartime Korea were the subject of the feature, "One Man's Korean War," in the November 2008 issue of Smithsonian magazine, has published a selection of those photos in a new collection, Korean War in Color: A Correspondent’s Retrospective on a Forgotten War (Seoul Selection, 2010).
Rich spent nearly 30 years as a war correspondent for the International News Service and later for NBC News.
He took more than 1,000 color photographs in 1950 while on the ground covering the Korean War.
