Demoralized: Why Teacher Leave the Profession They Love and How They Can Stay by Doris A. Santoro

The latest edition of Educational Leadership magazine focuses on the issue of educator burnout, and features a contribution from Associate Professor of Education Doris A. Santoro.

“Demoralization happens when educators face persistent challenges to their professional values,” she argues. Santoro also addressed the issue in the May edition of School Administratormagazine.

Her latest book is Demoralized: Why Teachers Leave the Profession They Love and How They Can Stay (Harvard Education Press, 2018.)
