Paralympian Silver Medalist Jake Adicoff ’18 Throws Opening Pitch at Fenway

Nordic skier Jake Adicoff ’18 was among seven Winter Olympians invited to throw out the opening pitch at Fenway Park April 5, 2018.

Adicoff, who won a silver at the Paralympics, was joined by four members of the gold medal-winning US women’s hockey team, as well as luge silver medalist Chris Mazdzer and fellow Paralympian Dan Cnossen, a gold medal-winning biathlete and former Navy SEAL who lost both his legs in Afghanistan.

Adicoff, who is studying math and computer science at Bowdoin, finished second in the 10-kilometer cross-country ski races for visually impaired athletes, with a time of 24:31.3.
