This summer Museum of Art will participate in Second Friday Brunswick. This event occurs from June through September on the second Friday of each month from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Visitors are encouraged to join the festivities, which stretch from the Museum to Fort Andross. This year’s series will include visual art, live music, dance performances, and extended shopping hours throughout the heart of Brunswick.

The Museum has events planned for each of the upcoming “Second Fridays.” On June 9, visitors are welcome to view the new exhibitions, Why Draw? 500 Years of Drawings and Watercolors and John Walker: A Painter Draws. Thanks to our generous sponsor, Harpswell Capital, the Museum will also be providing free gelato from Gelato Fiasco on the terrace .

The events continue with a visit from artist John Walker on July 14 to discuss his current exhibition, art activities for families on August 11, and extended viewing hours on September 8. The Museum staff looks forward to welcoming you and your family this summer and is excited to be a part of the thriving art community in Brunswick.
