Polar Bears gather in New Jersey for the Annual Summer Send Off
Nearly 50 alumni, current students, and members of the Class of 2020 gathered at the home of Harold “E.B.” Brakewood ’87, P’19, Kelly McKinney-Brakewood ’87, P’19, and Eleanor Brakewood ’19 in Lebanon, New Jersey for the annual Bowdoin Summer Send Off for the Class of 2020. Incoming students came from all over northern and central New Jersey—and some as far as Philadelphia! —to meet one another and hear from alumni and current students about the best places to study, favorite professors and classes to take, and the tastiest eats at Thorne.
“We had so much fun,” shared Kelly, “And the 2020’s and their families enjoyed the opportunity to meet each other as well as chance to hear advice from the upperclassmen who were here.” Welcome to the Class of 2020!
