'What Matters' Campus Conversations: Diversity in the Science Classroom

A new series of campus conversations recently got underway aimed at sparking dialogue around topics important to the Bowdoin community. These “What Matters” discussions are organized by the Joseph McKeen Center for the Common Good and are intended to foster open conversations about difficult issues on campus. The first one took place at the end of February and looked at the issue of diversity in the science classroom.

Michelle Vazquez Jacobus, the McKeen Center’s interim associate director, spoke with College Writer and Multimedia Producer Tom Porter on the weekly WBOR radio show Bowdoin and Beyond, which airs Fridays 3 p.m.-4 p.m. on 91.1 FM.
