Bowdoin Connections Career Networking Receptions off to a great start

More than 500 alumni and students came out this week for the signature Bowdoin Connections career networking receptions. The Connections series kicked off in Washington, D.C. on Monday evening at the National Press Club. Many students traveled up the coast to attend the second Connections event in New York City at The Yale Club of New York City. Thursday evening was another great event in Boston at the Liberty Hotel.

The Connections receptions are an opportunity for alumni and students to share experiences, offer advice, ask questions, and meet fellow polar bears in a wide range of industries. Outcomes range from job offers and summer internships to mentoring relationships and new LinkedIn connections.

Next week the Alumni Relations and Career Planning Offices hit the road again for receptions in San Francisco and Chicago and a local reception will be held in Portland, Maine in February.
