Starting on a High Note: Student A Cappella Showcase Kicks Off Series of Inaugural Events

Bowdoin’s a cappella groups kicked off the series of events comprising the Inaugural weekend with a Thursday night concert in Pickard Theater. After introductions by Esther Nunoo ’17 and Emily Serwer ’16, the Longfellows, BOKA, Miscellania, Ursus Verses and Meddiebempsters performed.

The inauguration of Clayton Rose, Bowdoin’s 15th president, will take place at 10:30, Saturday, Oct. 17, in Farley Field House. This afternoon, Bowdoin hosts a symposium, “The Power of the Liberal Arts,” followed by an evening Guster concert.
