George Lopez
On November 12, 2015 George Lopez, Bowdoin’s Beckwith Artist-in-Residence, presents an evening of music featuring the harpsichord in conjunction with Earth Matters: Land as Material and Metaphor in the Arts of Africa. This is the second year of the concert series “Music at the Museum,” in which Lopez draws on the ideas and aesthetics of the art on view to inspire his performance. 6:30-7:30 p.m., Bowdoin College Museum of Art.
Please note that Lopez will also perform at the Bowdoin College Museum of Art on Thursday, December 10 at 6:30 p.m. (there is a misprint in the printed events calendar.)
