On Saturday, more than 500 students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends fanned out into the community to volunteer for 60 local service agencies. Common Good Day is a yearly tradition at Bowdoin. The volunteers gardened, did trail maintenance, visited the elderly, painted, cleaned up yards, assisted with grant research and played with children. The day included a catered lunch and celebrations at Farley Field House.
