'American Artists Look at the Night': Museum of Art's 'Night Vision' in The Wall Street Journal

The Bowdoin College Museum of Art’s summer exhibition, Night Vision: Nocturnes in American Art, 1860-1960with works by Winslow Homer, Edward Hopper, Georgia O’Keeffe and Andrew Wyeth, has attracted the attention of The Wall Street Journal, which provides an overview that includes an interview with Museum of Art Curator Joachim Homann.

“When electrification set in, many commentators were worried that certain qualities of the night were going to be lost,” says Homann in the article. “There were similar questions raised then that are being raised today, about whether technology is taking over too much of our lives.” Read the article.
