Duplex Printing - Windows

Duplex printing allows you to save paper by printing to both sides of a single sheet. All public printers on campus are capable of printing duplex and although we make every attempt to pre-configure the print drivers that you can download from us and install, not every print driver can be preconfigured. Below are the steps you can take to make sure that you print duplex.

Setting up Duplex Printing

1. In the application you wish to print from, click File - Print...
2. Select the printer you want to print to and click on Preferences... This can usually be found directly next to the printer name or below the list of printers.
3. Click on the Layout tab
4. Underneath the option titled Print on Both Sides: choose Flip on Long Edge
5. Click OK
6. Select your other print options such as quantity of printouts and click Print.
