Bowdoin College Queers and Allies (LGBTQIA Staff and Faculty Group)
Bowdoin College Queers and Allies (Q&A) was formed in 2005 as a group of LGBTQIA faculty, staff, and supportive allies from the Bowdoin community. Our goal is to serve as a resource for Bowdoin employees; support queer/questioning students (via informal mentoring), support the efforts of the BQSA (Bowdoin Queer Straight Alliance—a student-led group) and the Center for Sexuality, Women, and Gender (SWAG), and develop social programming for the community inclusive of faculty, staff, and friends of Bowdoin.
