Open Enrollment

The College’s annual benefits Open Enrollment will be held Monday, November 5th through Friday, November 16th for benefit elections effective January 1, 2019.  This is your annual opportunity to review your benefit elections, costs and make changes.

Enrollment takes place in Workday.  The top of each page in the enrollment process contains instructions and additional information to assist you.  Please remember that your Workday username and password should be kept confidential and not shared with others who might be assisting you to elect your benefits.  Starting November 5th the enrollment reminder will be located in your Workday inbox.

If you do not submit your enrollment by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 16th your benefit elections will remain the same for calendar year 2019, with the exception of enrollment in a Medical or Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA).  In order to participate in an FSA in 2019 you must make an active election.  In addition, if you are a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) participant making your own contributions to your Health Savings Account (HSA) in 2018 these contributions will stop with the last payroll in 2018.  In order for your contributions to continue into 2019, you must make an active election during Open Enrollment.  You can also make an election to contribute to your HSA account or make changes any time in calendar year 2019.

We ask everyone to review their benefit elections, along with life insurance beneficiary information, and submit the enrollment in Workday by the November 16th deadline even if you are making no changes.

Please also review all your personal information in Workday to be sure it is accurate.  Click on the “Personal Information” worklet and then “Change – personal information” – and scroll down through all data requests to be sure they are entered accurately.  This is also a good time to review emergency contact information.
