2006 – 2007 Co-organizer with Aden Evens (Dartmouth) and Susan McHugh (University of New England) of the 21st Annual Conference of the Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts (SLSA). Topic: CODE. November 1-4. Portland, Maine.

2003 – 2004 Co-organizer with sculptor Laurie Palmer of the Art Institute of Chicago a series of ten interdisciplinary workshops at Harvard University on the subject of SPACE.
