Burglar rips off restaurant after giving his number to employee: cops

A hopeless romantic gave his phone number to the bartender of a Bay Area restaurant before burglarizing the joint, cops said. Keveen Quintanilla, 31, swiped assorted electronics and televisions early Saturday from a storage area of Curry Up Now in San Mateo, Calif. cops said.

Pass rush ace Jared Allen agrees to deal with Bears, AP source

Free agent pass rusher Jared Allen has agreed to terms with the Bears on a four-year deal to help replace Julius Peppers in Chicago. A person with knowledge of the agreement tells The Associated Press that Allen will get $15.5 million guaranteed on a deal that could be worth as much as $32 million.
