Brunswick Pride Festival
Friday, June 10th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. ET
Brunswick is ready to show its colors this year with the inaugural Brunswick Pride! Join LGBTQ+ supporting organizations in the greater Brunswick area as well as across Maine on Friday, June 10th, from 4-7pm. Visit the Bowdoin table on the town mall to pick up some swag and say hello to staff cohosts from Alumni Relations, the Sexuality, Women, and Gender Center, and Bowdoin's Queers and Allies Faculty/Staff group. The Brunswick Pride Festival is also the first Second Friday Art Walk, so enjoy the artists and performers and show your support for the LGBTQ+ community. No registration required!
Portland Pride Parade
Saturday, June 18th at 1:00 p.m. ET
All members of the Bowdoin community and their guests are invited to walk behind Bowdoin's banner in the 2022 Portland Pride Parade! The parade steps off at 1:00pm, but Bowdoin's group lineup time and location will be announced soon. The parade starts at Monument Square and wraps up at the Pride Festival in Deering Oaks Park. Bowdoin Pride swag will be distributed at the parade lineup. Hosted by: Luis Miguel Guerrero '20, Q&A (Bowdoin's Queers and Allies Faculty/Staff group), and other Bowdoin staff including Kate Stern, associate dean of students for diversity & inclusion and director of the Sexuality, Women, and Gender Center and Katie Greene, Assistant A.D. for Operations, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator.

Out and Proudly NESCAC Happy Hour Series
Wednesday, June 22nd from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. local time
Join your fellow NESCAC schools for a multi-city celebration in Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. Celebrate LGBTQ+ peers from across the NESCAC schools and create joy at a difficult moment in the national climate for LGBTQ+ people.

Nashville Pride Parade

The rainbow logo was designed by artist Louisa Cannell ’13, with support from Alumni Council member Chris Omachi ’12. This design features black, brown, light blue, and pink representing people of color and the trans community to depict the expansive breadth of identity celebrated during Pride.
