Student Affairs. Residential Life

An inclusive and dynamic living community is central to the Bowdoin experience. The Office of Residential Life oversees all aspects of on-campus living and is dedicated to creating inclusive living spaces where all students are challenged to grow through self-reflection and peer interaction. The residential life student staff, College House leaders, and peer health are trained to support members of the Bowdoin community, especially first-year students, in a number of ways. The student leaders based out of the residential life office create educational and social programming, connect students with a variety of resources on campus, intervene in conflicts and crises, and support students’ academic and social adjustment to Bowdoin. Residential life regularly works with all facets of the student affairs network, as well as frequently pairing with various student groups and clubs, to produce innovative and inclusive programming for the Bowdoin campus.
