Getting Data From The State

Downloading data from the state is time consuming and I would recommend checking other sources at Bowdoin first because it generally takes less time.

THere are several types of data available from the state of Maine.

• Orthomaps
• Contour and elevation data
• Hyd23: Water body data
• E911rds: Roads for all sections of the state that currently have 911.
• Aquifer data
• Bedrock data
• Seismic lines

If you are working with the CBGIS project make sure to check the \GIS files\Data on the CBGIS drive for the data first.
