SEP 28, 2006 Mongol Scrolls A researcher from the upcoming Iron Man movie contacted us about using images from the Mongol Scrolls site for reference for design on the movie. J. Michael Riva is the production designer doing the research.
SEP 20, 2006 General Robert and I worked with the art museum to set them up using Gallery so they could show what art work was slated to be featured in the different exhibits of the newly rennovated museum.
JUL 15, 2006 Heiji Scroll Granted permission to use the images of the Heiji Scroll (Siege of the Sanjo Palace - wikipedia) in the scroll viewer. Prof. Conlan is now using that in class... temporary home can be found here.
DEC 30, 2005   UPDATE: The research paper and information about the conferrence in China can be found here. My colleague Tina and I have been accepted into Edutainment 2006. We are writing a paper about interactive storytelling and narrative based on the Mongol Scrolls project I designed at Bowdoin. I'll be traveling to Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China in April to attend.
