Distinguished Long-Scale
Longisquama insignis
(Sharov, 1970)
Longisquama insignis is a prolacertiform very similar to Cosesaurus .  The long scales sprouting from its back constitute a flamboyant embellishment to this otherwise plain creature.

Thanks to Luis Rey, Pete Buchholz, and George Olshevsky for their comments on the scales of Longisquama.  Thanks to Brad for correcting me on the date-of-publication and author of Longisquama and for providing a translation of the specific name.
