Chaoyang Long-Wing (Zhang, F., Zhou, Z., Hou, L., and Gu, G. 2001)Longipteryx chaoyangensis Longipteryx chaoyangensis is one the many birds found in the lush Liaoning region of Early Cretaceous China. An enantiornithine with large wings and beak, L. chaoyangensis is an omnivore, content to eat any sort of biological matter, especially insects, small animals, and fruit.Thanks to Ben Creisler for telling me the Chinese name of Longipteryx and his correction of my Latin translation.
