(Ji Q., Chiappe & Ji S., 1999 )Changchengornis hengdaoziensis is a medium-sized, omnivorous bird of the Cretaceous Chinese forests. Although it is similar to it's relative, Confuciusornis sanctus is body shape, C. hengdaoziensis has large talons and a hooked beak. With these aids, the bird flies from tree to tree, grabbing up morsels in the shape of insects, seeds, and the occasional lizard, mammal, or small bird.
