( Norell, Makovicky, and Clark, 2000)Byron Jaffe's Lizard Byronosaurus jaffei
Like its North American reletive, Troodon formosus, Byronosaurus jaffei is a predator of small animals. B. jaffei large, forward-facing eyes give this troodont a sterioscopic veiw of its world, enabeling it to tell exactly how far away a prey animal is from its face. Unlike other troodonts, however, B. jaffei has a large and sensetive nose (Headden) and so can hunt effectively during the night as well as the day.
