Join your local Bowdoin ClubBowdoin clubs hold social, educational and community-oriented activities each year. There are 25 active Bowdoin clubs around the country and several overseas. Activities are planned for each regional club by committees of alumni/ae volunteers working with the Office of Alumni Relations. Check out a list of regional clubs and events on our website. Serve as a Class AgentSupporting Bowdoin financially is a measure of alumni satisfaction. Each graduating class has members who volunteer to stay in touch with classmates and help fundraise as volunteers for the Alumni Fund. Class Agents personally reach out to a small group of individuals and help share the latest Bowdoin news. If you are interested in becoming a Class Agent contact Marc Mendoza '05.
Recruit and Interview Prospective Students (BASIC)BASIC (Bowdoin Alumni Schools and Interviewing Committee) is an organization that helps to extend the outreach of the Admissions Office. More than 1,000 alumni volunteers act as representatives of the College to students, parents, and guidance counselors in their communities nationwide and worldwide. Primary activities of BASIC include: interviewing candidates for admission, representing Bowdoin at local recruiting events and college fairs, encouraging interest among students from diverse backgrounds, and making contacts with organizations, educators and high school area guidance staff.
