I started this project wanting to examine the relationship between person and place. Through the course of this process, I came to realize that the way our presence inhabits space begins to leave a specific transient mark, yet one that is all together salient in the memories it produces. It transforms space into a portrait of ourselves, and creates a unique reality. The aggregation of these experiences creates a collective presence that resides in every space we inhabit. The result is both fleeting and permanent, a sentiment I hoped to bring to the fore throughout this project.
