The Council for Opportunity in Education, TRIO's lobbying organization in DC, would like to hear from alums as they build their national alumni database. TRiO alumni can go onine to complete a survey which documents their success as program graduates. Your stories will help strengthen TRIO programs by providing detailing information about the success of TRIO programs. If you would like your story to be part of that effort, go to TRIOWorks survey.
Funded through the U.S. Department of Education, Upward Bound is a program that helps high school students get into & succeed in college.
Our students are the first generation in their family to graduate from college and come from low-income households.
There are over 700 Upward Bound programs nationwide. The Bowdoin College program works with students from 12 Maine high schools.
