Upward Bound is interested in people who want to put their energy to work in a rewarding, challenging summer residential position. Each winter, we recruit for several positions in our summer program. Staff recruitment usually begins in January with applications due in early February.

- Teaching Assistants: Live-in staff whose responsibilities include dorm oversite, acting as assistants in the classroom, leading Teaching Assistant groups in the evening, coordinating activities, communicating feedback to administrative staff.
- House Managers: Assists the Resident Director in all functions, including dorm programming, supervision of students, safety, assistant to Teaching Assistant when needed.
- Activities/Trips Coordinator: Coordinates variety of summer activities, including Thursday speaker series, weekend college trips, weekend activities, Family and Friends weekend; works closely with administrative staff/directors in planning, and with other residential staff to carry out activities.
- Bridge Director: Coordinates Bridge program for seniors returning for a third summer; coordination of Bridge work program; residential programming; one-on-one and group work with students re: transition to college, close communication with administrative staff/directors.
