Participants wanted. Talent optional. Or nearly optional. You can minor in dance here if you're serious. But you can also join the ballet club, the tap club, the ballroom dance club, the hip-hop/breakdancing club, the swing dance club, the step dancing club, or the VAGUE student dance group (really, that's the name). Unlike some places, Bowdoin's approach has something for everyone - whether you're comfortable in tights or not. It's not that the standards are lower, just the recognition that anyone should be able to participate in the arts at some level, even those who are not pursuing them as a career choice.
