This year's opening Convocation, our 213th, will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd, at 3:30 p.m. in Pickard Theater. The Convocation address will be delivered by Professor Samuel Putnam. The title of his talk is "The Nature of the Nurture of Nature."

Faculty and Staff interested in marching in the procession, please meet at 3:15 p.m. in front of Searles Science Building. Please arrive wearing your academic regalia; there will be no procession if it is raining.
