Student's Alternative Transportation Options:

  • Use the Ride Board to carpool with other Bowdoin students!
  • Reserve a hybrid fleet vehicle if you are using campus transportation!
  • Join the communal bike club for days when you don't feel like walking in the spring or fall. Better yet, volunteer with the Communal Bike Club. People are needed to help maintain bicycles, change locks and collect/distribute bicycles. Contact Yoni Ackerman for more information.
  • Use the Bowdoin Shuttle to Portland, Cooks Corner and other locations! (Check at the Smith Union Information Desk for details)
  • Take public transit when you can and avoid flying
