Your gift matters. Annual Giving is the third largest campaign priority. In many ways, annual giving is what separates Bowdoin from our peers and gives us our competitive edge.

Meeting this goal is made possible through the generosity of each and every donor to the Alumni Fund, the Parents Fund, the Polar Bear Athletic Fund, and the Friends of the College Fund. Most donors will participate in the campaign solely through annual giving, and those gifts are likely to reach $43.1 million over the course of The Bowdoin Campaign. Reunion giving is the cornerstone of annual giving, typically comprising 31-38% of each year’s totals. By making annual gifts, donors become active participants in The Bowdoin Campaign. Unrestricted gifts to the Alumni Fund, the Parents Fund, the Polar Bear Athletic Fund, and the Friends of the College Fund generate vital support for the College’s academic program, financial aid, and extracurricular activities, providing an important margin of excellence beyond what is possible from tuition and endowment income alone. In many ways, annual giving is what separates Bowdoin from our peers and gives us our competitive edge.
